Cutting Edge Web Developer Required

Worldspan Creative are currently seeking a talented web developer. We are looking for an open-minded, passionate, incredibly talented, creative and quick web developer. You will be based in our studio in Abergele, North Wales. Be prepared to think and create independently and to be ready for any number of development challenges. The person we are looking for should also be able to assimilate to a fast-paced work environment, articulate his/her ideas clearly and work well with others.

Technical skills required are the following:

• Experience in Python and Django would be very advantageous.
• Solid experience with JavaScript, Ajax and XML
• Strong database management skills and experience using MySQL
• Obsessive about web standards, code quality, and maintainability
• Participate in creating and implementing new features
• Actively investigate new tools and methods to support and improve the computing environment
• An advocate of Agile software development methodology
• Brainstorming new and exciting ideas with the team
• Troubleshooting and bug fixes
• Meticulous attention to detail
• A strong portfolio of past work (quality not necessarily quantity)

It is essential that you can work on multiple projects at the same time, understand and follow a brief, have a willingness to learn and grow within the company, interact well with clients and colleagues and most importantly be a team player.

Creative Web Designer Required

Worldspan Creative are currently seeking a talented web designer ideally with a minimum of 3 years studio experience. This position is based in our studio in Abergele, North Wales. You will be creative, motivated and able to hit the ground running on a variety of projects. Understanding a brief quickly and being able to manage your time and resources effectively are essential. Technical skills required are the following:

• Exceptional CSS and XHTML with a passion for accessibility
• Sound knowledge of cross browser testing
• All manners of cutting edge web development
• Adobe CS3 (Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash)
• Ideally 3 years studio experience
• First class creativity
• Project management
• Client liason skills
• Search Engine Optimisation experience advantageous
• Strong understanding of Social Networking advantageous
• Meticulous attention to detail
• A strong portfolio of past work (quality not necessarily quantity)
